Bowling Green looks to establish a recycling program

Bowling green city and Bowling Green State University are looking at ways in which they can become more sustainable with their waste and recycling mattresses is on the top of the list. Ohio Mattress is hoping to have some type of program worked out for them by Earth Day 2009, which is April 22, 2009.

As we are preparing for the Northeast Sustainability Fair in Canton, NY I spoke to the organizer about your business. She says that the 4 colleges/universities would be interested in your services. I'll have to submit your information to her.

It is amazing to hear the feedback you get when we mention your business and what it does.

Thanks for the update.

In my humble opinion, dealing with the bulky coil springs found in many mattresses has been a financial and physical detriment to the mattress recycling efforts. With the February 2009 Spring Compactor Invention Provisional Patent Filing with the United States Patent Office - compacted steel coil springs are now just another profitable way to recycle steel. www.MattressRecycling.biz

This is one sector that doen't look to have a foothold in the UK. It's certainly something that I think we'll be looking at over the coming months. I'm sure it's a sector that has some legs to it.
